Yoghurt.

Yes, I changed my blog again. Since I've been to Vietnam, I'm totally obsessed with yoghurt, especially frozen yoghurt! Too bad there are no yoghurtbars in the neighbourhood, just in Amsterdam. What is kinda weird, because yoghurt was introduced to England by Dutch people! Than it went to the US (who stupidly changed the name in yogurt without the 'h')
Luckilly I've learnt an yoghurt recipe from my aunt in Vietnam (who's son has a frozen yoghurtbar in the US!) for yoghurt drinks. You can find the recipe, as I promised, on the bottom of this post!

And just like every year, I went to the fancy fair here. Too bad this time it was way less fun/crowded this year. I suppose weather has a little bit to do with this. But it was the first time that I'd see the firework!

Strawberry-yoghurt recipe:

You have to prepare this sweetened yoghurt a day before!

Ingredients:
- 1 small cup of plain yoghurt
- condensed milk can
- hot water
- 0,5L milk
- strawberries
- strawberry syrup

-coolbox filled with lukewarm to hot water

How to:
Put the condensed milk a large bowl. Than fill the can with hot (100C). Stir a little and combine this with the condensed milk. Than add the milk and yoghurt to it. Mix well.
Put the mixture in an empty plastic flagon (close it!) and put this in the coolbox with the water in it. Let it rest for about 10 hours.

After 10 hours (or more if you like it less sweet), get it out the box.
You now just have to cut the strawberries and mix it with the yoghurt and strawberry syrup!


Dutch:
Ingrediƫnten:
- ongeveer 50gram gewone yoghurt
- 1 blik gecondenseerde melk
- 0,5 L melk
- kokend water
- aardbeien
- aardbeien siroop

- een koelbox gevuld met lauw tot heet water

Bereidingswijze:
Doe de gecondenseerde melk in een groot schaal oid. Vul daarna het lege blikje met kokend water. Doe het water bij de gecondenseerde melk. Voeg nu ook een half liter melk en de yoghurt toe en roer goed. Schenk dit mengsel over in een plastic fles (doe dit dicht!) en zet het in de koelbox met het warme water. Laat dit 10 uur staan.

Na 10 uur (of langer, als je het niet zo zoet wilt hebben) haal je het uit de koelbox.
Nu hoef je alleen nog maar de aardbeien in schijfjes te snijden en te mixen met de yoghurt uit de fles en aardbeien siroop!
